WWII Hangar Doors at Daniel Field

Great care was given to preserve the pre WWII hangar doors at Daniel Field during their restoration.  The only modification to the hangar doors required was to add two “Man Doors”, one on each side of the hangar.

“Man Doors” are a convenient way to enter or exit the hangar without having to open the large hangar doors.  The addition of these doors was to enhance safety allowing easy exit of the hangar in case of fire or other hazardous situations.
